Victory-Dismissal of burglary and domestic assault

Minnesota Criminal Defense Attorney Lynne Torgerson obtains dismissal of felony burglary and domestic charges in Dakota County, State of Minnesota.  Phenomenal victory!  Ms. Torgerson’s client is a licensed Nurse Practitioner, whereby consequences of a criminal conviction could cause her to lose her nursing license.  Accordingly, the outcome of this case was critical.  The defendant’s husband accused female defendant of entering his home without consent, taking some of his property, and assaulting him before his wife left.  Husband had a long history of committing domestic abuse and had various criminal convictions.  Husband later recanted.  Although recantations are not uncommon, and, a spouse’s desire for charges to be dropped are not controlling, the State eventually acquiesced and dismissed all charges in favor of defendant.  Well done Ms. Torgerson.
