Minnesota Gun Rights Lawyer Lynne Torgerson won another case out of the County of Le Sueur, State of Minnesota. Petitioner is now 41 years old, whereas his disqualifying conviction is from when he was about 20 years old. He has matured significantly since his disqualifying offense. He has had a stable residence for 17 years. He is raising his teenage son. The mother of his son provided a letter of reference. He is gainfully employed. He does not use illegal drugs. He has never had any mental health commitment or hospitalization. The Le Sueur County Attorney did not oppose restoration. Petitioner wants to continue the family tradition of hunting, which is recognized in the Minnesota Constitution. Finding good cause for restoration of Petitioner’s Second Amendment rights, the Court, The Honorable Patrick H. Goggins presiding, granted Petitioner’s Petition. Well done Ms. Torgerson.
