Minnesota Gun Rights Restoration Attorney Lynne Torgerson won restoration of gun rights in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Petitioner is now 29 years old. He resides in Maple Grove. He is a high school graduate. He is in the military, the Army National Guard. He is employed full time. In the future, he wants to work in the armed security field. He has never had any alcohol or drug treatment. He has never had any mental health hospitalization or commitment. He had 1 disqualifying offense, from when he was a juvenile, before the age of 18, which was a 3rd degree felony assault. That case is now approximately 16 years old. Petitioner now wishes to get his Second Amendment rights restored, be able to engage in self defense and defense of family should the need ever arise, obtain a carry permit, and teach his children firearms’ safety. Finding good cause, The Honorable Bruce D. Manning, Hennepin County District Court, granted Petitioner’s restoration of his Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms. Well done Ms. Torgerson.
